skulls, fishnets, amazing new leather boots && a pistol strapped to my thigh..

i’m *fairly* certain that qualifies me for badass status, but i suppose i could be wrong. ;P

in my seemingly never-ending quest to catch up on all the goodies i’ve missed out on in these last few months, i’ve been reminded again && again just why i seem to be so out of the loop. it’s because all my favorite stores, and arguably some of the most well-established brands in sl, consistently and frequently release awesome shit. and i was greeted yesterday by a notice from maitreya that i seriously flipped out over.

the mesh boots i’m wearing in this look today are *divine*. they are new from maitreya and… i must say: even if all their latest mesh releases haven’t been my taste (can’t please everyone with everything, right?), i cannot deny how gorgeous && how high-quality said releases have been. like, even if i personally wouldn’t wear something, i can’t say it’s because it’s not beautiful.. it’s just not my style. their releases have been better and better and better each time…. and these boots, they are no exception. i grabbed ’em in this sand color because i instantly fell in love with the demo pair i tried on, but the rest of the color choices are just as awesome. …and i may be back for these in black because i like them so much. they are scrunchy, they are wonderfully textured, and they are season-appropriate for just about any time of year. love them.

other mesh goodies i snagged for this look include the lucky girl tank top from suicidal unborn && a pair of high-waisted denim shorts from teefy that are currently out @ fameshed. a few accessories from hod, amorous, sakide, onyx wear and loulou&co round out the look, while this super sexy wavy hair from lamb adds back in a bit of girlishness. i topped it off with some really juicy lip gloss from pink acid && by far, my favorite skin ever from pink fuel and indeed, i think i accomplished the whole badass look rather well.

badass with some amazing new boots. i cannot wait for fall to hit so i can wear these with sweaters and leggings. or winter, where they’ll still work with jeans and a heavy jacket. …is it wrong that i am excited for the change of season simply because i look forward to the sorts of looks i can put together? heh, probably!

it’s the day before vday and loooove is in the air. but just what are two single… *chaste && demure*.. bffs to do without plans?

okay, so the whole sweet and innocent thing doesn’t really work all that well when we’re wearing wet and erotic tshirts, but. ;p it was worth a shot.

these *20L* gatcha tees by sn@tch were far too *fun* not to play around with for a post. bff vivi && i spent soooo much time feeding the gatcha, trying to get all the t-shirts. i might have had a li’l streak of bad luck && got five of the shirts that say “dirty” across the chest in a row… while attempting to get the pink “virgin” version (oh, how funny).. but i swear the gatcha machine was just tryin’ to call me a dirty, dirty girl. ..for some unknown reason. 😉

and of course… vivienne && i had to show off our undies (both of which are from suicidal unborn.. and my skull-faced pair is part of a pack of *freebies!*), ’cause that’s the *theme* for this week and all, and there’s just somethin’ about a bright, shiny motorcycle that seemed fitting to pose in front of in our panties. there’s something undoubtedly sexy about a bike, perhaps how *dangerous* they can seem, but can you just imagine two cute girls all straddled on the bike in their undies? mmhmmmmm. wet && erotic indeed. bwahahah~

so it’s been a li’l while since i showed off my living room… new year’s eve, in fact, was the last time i posed for bloggy pics in this room. and since the christmas season is sadly loo~oong over, bff vivi && i decided to redecorate with less holiday and more us. and today, i thought it was complete enough to pose here for some snapshots!

our living room (which, to be truthful, is actually our second living room… the other “sitting area” hasn’t been changed since we finished decorating it after we got our land, ahah. seems like only *this* living room gets makeovers frequently!) is set up with furniture && various items o’ decor from several different places. the striped teal rug && coffee table, complete with the bowl of fruit and newspapers, are both from cheeky pea. the snowy window and two jar candles are from what next. the blue flowered jug, mustachioed lightbulbs and the two insanely cute bear mugs are from lisp. the *mesh* pink couch, end table, lamp, plant, and yellow candelabra are from tromp loeil @ collabor88. aaaaaand the three li’l kokeshi doll pictures are from callie cline, also out @ collabor88.

i really wish i could remember where the marilyn monroe painting was from, or where we got the large yellow rug too. i’d like to give those credits as well.. unfortunately, i cannot. ;(

but! thankfully, everything matched the vivid neon color palette we were workin’ with. \o/ i love our blindingly bright living room! someday, i’ll have to actually take the time to snap some pics of the rest of our house, ehe~

soooo, i put together a stay at home ‘n’ laze about on the couch kinda look for today. of course, in matching hot pink — with some gray && black mixed in as well. and it all centers around this *adorable* free gift for group members hat from toxic kitty. i am *such* a sucker for super cute things… and anything with a li’l animal face on it (ie, see the mugs in the first pic from lisp! x3) will inevitably find it’s way into my inventory. i was so stoked to find this hat for free, you should definitely go grab it ’cause i’ve no idea how long it’ll be out!

i worked in a *new* tank top from onyx wear, a sweater from jane && boots from love soul.. both of which i picked up *on sale* (i’m not sure if the jane sale is still going on ;.; but i *do* know that the love soul sale still is! gooooo!), and some accessories from amorous, hod && yummy.

so what if i wear a winter hat inside… it’s cute, okay!? and i honestly don’t think i could’ve taken it off even if i wanted to, it seems mysteriously glued to my head. it’s almost as if… i like it too much to take it off or something~ ;3

red && black

one of my favorite sims to snap piccies on is innsmouth. the entire sim is run down, dark && wonderfully frightening (especially the ambient sound!). it’s one of those places where just wandering around, looking at the build, completely inspires snapshots… it’s definitely a must-see if you’ve not been yet!

so bff vivi && i decided to head there in themed attire to take some photos. …well, not even *some*.. more like *a lot*, but. i decided to pair it down to just a few for blogging purposes. ;p

my look actually all started with makeup, believe it or not.. i built my outfit around the new leopard print tattoo eyemakeup from cstar limited. you can wear just the leopard spots to either side of the eye, or wear the spots with a deep smokey eye as well (which is how i’m wearing it here) && i looooooove it. there are a *ton* of colors to pick from, so of course along with the black.. i picked up the neon hot pink set as well, but they are in limited quantities! and @ *100L* a pop, these are going so so fast. if you love the leopard eye like i do, then go right now && snag a set for yourself. go. gogogogogogogo!

i really could have gone into leopard overload, but decided to only match the spots on my eyes with these sheer leggings from izzie’s, layered underneath the jacket && dress combo from aoharu and whippet & buck. some tall boots, a gun strapped to my thigh, && a freshly-fed vampiric skin from pink fuel make me look like some undercover demonic .. cop. but! at least it’s a cute undercover demonic cop? with some *fierce* leopard eye shadow! \o/

vivienne‘s look all centers around the *adorable* blackheart dress set from katatonik. there are so many options with this ensemble, it’s almost unreal. you get the dress, the stockings, the gloves && a li’l lopsided top hat (which is srsly so cute x3 even if vivi didn’t wear it!). then you get a sheer version of the top part of the dress, that you can wear as a shirt on it’s own, a sheer version of the skirt, *and* the matching lingerie. @_@ soooo very nice for the price, there’s a ton of mixin’ && matchin’ in there with all the pieces you get.

she’s also wearing the *new* hair from exile out @ the dressing room blue. this hair is just… all waves and deliciousness. the headband/bow combo is color-change && i adore perfectly messy it is. i got the pack at tdr blue too, even if it doesn’t come in my *preferred* blonde color, just because it was too cute to pass up. maybe i’ll be brunette for a day just to wear it since i love it so much, ’cause apparently i have no problems goin’ from blonde to pitch black. ;p

oh, and i *did* mention vivi’s outfit comes with the lingerie…

…right? ;D

two looks, 1 girl

it’s not usual that i put *two* looks together on myself for just one post. i usually leave the whole two looks thing for when i am able to photograph bff vivi && i together. but today, i had so many fucking sweet things to show off that.. well…

let’s just say costume changes on SL make blogging two looks a pain in the damn ass. ;p but i did it!

i’ll start with the look on the left, in gray.

now i blogged some red mint goodies the other day, but the lovely moni schulze dropped *even more* amazingness on me. quite a few pieces i’m blogging today, in both looks, are from red mint. i don’t typically cover myself head to toe in one designer — i like to mix && match items, it makes it more fun and more versatile that way. but when those items are as nicely made as those from red mint, it is hard not to want to roll all around in mint-y goodness~

my skin is divine, i love the way it’s shaded && the tan color i’m wearing is just delicious. perfect for summer, even if there are a few makeup’d snowflakes on my cheek. x3 the ears are red mint as well (as is the nom i’m munchin’ on, it came with the ears!) and they saved me *so much work* because they are scripted to flawlessly match their line of skins. one click && i had seamlessly matched ears. yaaaaay! \o/

for the look on the right with glasses, i am giving ya’ll a li’l tease of the upcoming grunge soul project. it doesn’t officially open until june 13th, but luckily.. that’s not too far off. ;D and the best part? i didn’t spot anything there over *100L*. most of the things i scooped up were waayy below that, too! skins, shapes, accessories, clothes — for the girls && the guys!

the brightly colored minidress is set up at gsp by suicidal unborn. i love their clothes && the design on this dress was an insta-sell for me. neon, 80’s colored zombie? oh *hell* yes! it comes with a bunch of different options for less or more shreds and the halter back, for me, makes it unique enough to totally justify yet *another* minidress in my virtual closet.

the tattoo-layer makeup i’m wearing is from damned && comes with a *ton* of options, too. you can wear just the eyeshadow, with the cheek dots, or just a pouty lip color in three different color choices. i am such a sucker for makeup tattoos and the best part? i can splurge on eleventy billion different makeups && not break the bank in second life — unlike in my first life. /me shakes an angry fist at mac for being so perdy and so hard on the wallet

and the sharp knife i’ve vicariously got perched between my lips is also set out at gsp, by delicious. i’m not sure a dagger blade would be all that tasty to nom upon, but i suppose it’d save my hands from having to hold it. and i wouldn’t wanna mess up a *fierce* manicure like the one i’m wearing from a&a. with nails like that, i suppose i wouldn’t even need the dagger, tho..

now, as long as you leave a few lindens leftover for the grunge soul project *tomorrow*, then i say it’d be totally worth it to stop by red mint. and who knows, you may even see me there, burning the last few bucks i’ve got on more awesomeness. 😉

haha, juuuuust kidding. i would never shoot you. ❤ it's there just for show anyway! but it's *fierce*, amirite? i picked it up from pepper today after gushing yesterday about how cute the necklaces && nails were. that whole store is awesome, just sayin’.

so today, i guess, my look sorta revolved (get it? revolved? revolver? no? ..okay) around said gun strapped to mah thigh.

the pretty patterned stockings i’ve got on are from footworks and sadly, the store is closing. ;( but, to lessen the blow at least a little bit.. the entire store has been marked down to 2L. hosiery, heels, flats, boots… all kinds of goodies for your feets ‘n legs. go scoop up the awesome stuffs before it disappears *forever*! i’m not sure when it closes exactly, but it’s open only until their tier runs out. so hurry!!

other than my gun, accessories for today include a deadly spiked backpack from nv. i don’t wear backpacks often, but this one.. it’s coffin shaped. how the hell was i supposed to pass that up?

my hair is from argrace && the attached cap only added to the i’ll kick your ass and you will like it sorta vibe my look has going on today. the hat is color-change and argrace makes some of the *nicest* hair and hat combos on the grid. plus i love their platinum blonde hair color. ❤

but with all the badassery in my outfit, i had to add *something* cute. and this comes in the form of my wide, huge glasses from duboo. while it’s a little glitchy with my hair (grumblegrumble), they are still fucking adorable. they make my face look so tiny, so i left ’em large. and conveniently, they come with several different copies all attached to different parts of the face. which really helped me out today, cause repositioning attachments can be such a pain and i really piled on the facial accessories today to boot.

so i’ve got my gun, my cigarette && my military cap. the only thing left to complete the look?

playing favorites

so. when i go to post a look here on my blog, i am completely 100% satisfied with it. it is, at the moment, my favorite for the day. i never blog anything i don’t like (cause… that would be a little counter-productive) and what you see here is chalk full of things i think are awesome.

however! there are some looks that, to me, stand out more than others. and there are always posts that appeal to me more than the rest, even if i like everything i’ve put up here. but i gotta say… out of all 65(!!!) entries i’ve written so far, the look i have for today is my absolute favorite.

to me, i look like a mix between pink (and i love her times a hundred <3) and a very dapper dandy, with a little elf && vixxie thrown in. and i love it *so much*, i couldn’t wait any longer to post this up.

the look all started with the cane i picked up for 50L friday from deco. it was sort of an impulse buy. like, it’s only 50L, why not? but when i tried it on? i think i literally squealed. it comes with a built in AO so you literally walk with the cane. the run anim is too cute as well, running and holding it across your chest. plus, it’s got a goddamn golden duck head to hold! srsly, it’s amazing.

so i worked from the cane on up, picking out clothing an accessories that sorta matched the “theme”. silken pants from leezu worked in a lovely pastel shade, the ruffled tank (that i tooootally said in a blog post like.. 2 months ago that i’d be back to get and aha! i finally did!) from surf couture added some frills at the chest && gartered socks from pig worn with the fabulous oxford shoes from coco completed what i was going for in such lovely ways.

i really packed on the accessories for this look, too. as i said yesterday, i visited sanu *just* for the amazing monocle (but ended up buying, like, a ton of shit.. gotta love when that happens). the detail on on the monocle is beyond intricate, it boggles my mind how someone can pack so much realism into such a tiny piece. but it’s awesome && it fits and was exactly what i was looking for.

then, what’s a proper gentleman haha without a pocket watch? mine today is from skream and while the pants i’ve got on don’t.. have… a visible pocket, in my head it is dangling from the belt. because it was far too cute not to wear. okay? >:O

my tattoo from endless pain was the *perfect* addition, simply because of the pretty pastel colors worked through the sleeves. teeny little top hat, that i bought from dilly dolls also was a needed accessory, because.. well.. it only seemed fitting. plus it’s tiny and adorable and at a gravity-defying tilt. i loves it.

this look may be totally outside of my norm, but if i haven’t said it enough already… i absolutely adore the way it looks. and i also might have spent an entire hour just walking back and forth in front of my house, because the walk anim included with the cane amuses me way too much. 😀

second life succubi

i’m not sure whether or not bff vivi actually *enjoys* posing with me for my blog. i’m a little bossy 😉 and it can take a while and it’s probably not the most exciting thing to stand on a pose stand, without any clue of how the picture is going to eventually end up looking.

but! when we look as evilly cute as we do here, i can’t imagine it would be *hard work* to pose with me~

these two looks all started after i took a trip to sanu, searching for an accessory for a look i’m doing tomorrow (that i’m *so excited* for, i love it!). but while at sanu, vivienne && i stumbled upon a set of succubus avatars. complete with wings, whip, ears, horns, hooves…. they were so cute that i could not resist.

and from there, i got the idea to dress as faun/succubi with vivi, in black and white. the way both looks turned out, oh i’m in looove <33

my look includes the succubus bits that vivi && i both picked up at sanu. with it, since we both own it in different colors, i’ve got on a sexy as *hell* dress from suicidal unborn.

for accessories, i’m wearing horns && a blindfold that i picked up from illusions. slowly, that entire store is finding it’s way into my inventory, haha. but the prim detail and textures are so lovely. and reasonable prices… srsly… cannot get better than that.

vivienne is *supposed* to be the good half of our succubus-twins, but she doesn’t really look all that angelic, does she? it’s okay though, cause i think i like her look even better than i like my own.

her legs, ears && tail are from pera from the summer of love fair. the entire set is *cute* and ridiculously low-priced. if you’re interested in faun avatars like we are, you should definitely scoop this set up.

she finished her mirrored-but-not look with an eyewrap && necklace from cobrahive, a tattoo from para designs, and one of the gorgeous new hair releases from truth.

while dressed like this, it gives me an excuse to be extra mischievous. i mean, it’s not like one would expect a succubus to be appropriately mannered, am i right?

anyone know a couple child avatars i could terrorize? >;D
