good morning

giiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiirl, it is *too* early in the morning right now in my area of the world. the sun is barely high enough in the sky to make it light out && yet here i am, awake. now, sometimes i don’t mind an early start to the day, but today… mmh, i dunno if i am feelin’ it yet. maybe i need a cup of coffee…

…and, perhaps, a best friend to prance around in my underwears with.

cause, y’know, that’s the best thing to do at the buttcrack of dawn. ;P and luckily for us, there is a *hunt* going on right now to supply us with said underwears… free of charge~

the dirty pillows hunt started at the beginning of the month && bff vivi and i were pretty excited to tuck in to it. me, i was most excited for the fact that free lingerie is the best lingerie (considering out of all the categories of clothing there are in my virtual wardrobe, the smallest folder is for bras ‘n’ panties), but for vivi… she was excited because this hunt includes boobies.

the grid has seemingly exploded lately with big ole titties. clothing ads, blog posts, flickr pics… it’s hard to miss ’em nowadays. and while i’ve always been happy with a smaller cup-size, vivienne on the other hand took the plunge and picked up a pair of lola’s prim breasts.

for what they are, they are *definitely* nicer than bumpin’ the sliders up to max. the shape, fit, and general appearance of vivi’s boobs look *awesome* (and i mean, really awesome) with these prim tatas on. and even though they are totally not for me, i can still see the appeal… both for wearing them yourself and having a more realistic larger bust && for having a li’l (heh, or not so li’l) something extra for your partner to ogle.

all the hunt prizes — including both sets of lingerie we’re wearing here — include appliers for prim breasts. and the best part is, even if you’re not the owner of some fabulously large boobies, you can *still* make use of the freebies just like i am. the hunt may be geared for the busty gals out there, but those of us in the ittie bitty titty committee can still hunt for some very nice lingerie for *freeeeee*!

new skin from pink fuel(!!!!!), new really amusing jewelry from amorous && a new *freebie!* piercing set from haus of darcy… seems as if these designers want me to *die* of happiness.

i’m a li’l late when it comes to the skin addiction event, but when i saw there was a new pink fuel skin there.. just waiting for me to grab it.. i *knew* i had to go. and i am in loooooove. ❤ i love these lips, i love the two makeup choices (there’s scene, which i’m wearing here with dark eyes and glossy lips, and classic which has a less dramatic eye but has *perfect* red lips), i just love this face. i’m not sure which skin i like more, this alena skin or the alyx skin mochi milena has been teasing us with, but either way.. i *cannot* wait for the full release of either one! /me foams at the mouth

the necklace i’m wearing, from amorous… well. if you clickie that picture and make it larger, you’ll be able to see the message on the pendant. and i am sure you’ll fully understand why it amuses me so. 😉

and let us not forget… freebie piercings from hod! the set of 4 omega nose gauges are *freeeeeeee* for the men only hunt, which started on the 26th && only runs for *two weeks*. while the prizes are more geared towards the guys, aydan darcy included both large && small sizes of these piercings to make ’em easier to fit on the ladies, too. which makes me so happy, because these bright, rainbowy colors are something you don’t normally find in hod’s already unique piercings… so the fact that i can wear these too is totally appreciated.

squeak!

i’m a day late, but i’m greeeeen! i can pretend st. patrick’s day celebrations go on all weekend (cause i am *sure* someone out there is still celebrating!). and since my family is *mostly* irish, i felt the need to be green. don’t wanna get pinched after all (or maybe i do….) ;P

and luckily for me, these *new* mesh heels from celoe matched the color i was goin’ for. out of all the color choices for these pumps, this light lime green shade was the one that stood out the most to me. it’s bright && cheery and i adore the way these heels seem to fit perfectly with the cuffs on the mon tissu mesh jeans (which i am seriously having a hard time taking off).

also! let me jog your memory a bit. do you remember kystria aura? she’s the *gorgeous* lady that posed with bff vivi && i in this post not too long ago. she is one of my favorite people in sl, i adore her perdy face ❤ so when she told me she was thinking about making some tattoos and opening a store… i *flipped out*!

the squeak chest tattoo i’m wearing today is from her new store, called kys this (cute name, right?!), and i knew i had to blog it. not only was it made by a dear friend of mine, but it’s also *amusing*. kystria is funny and happy and goofy (a lot like me, eh heh) && her tattoos are the same way. a li’l tongue in cheek and i like that.

i’m…. i’m brunette?! O:

why yes, yes i am~

it’s the only color i’ve really *not* rocked in world much. i’ve been blonde (hah, understatement! i am almost always blonde), a red-head, gone dark to black and navy, worn bright colors like bubblegum pink and lavender and minty teal… but brown? there’s not been much brunette vixxie other than in a few shots for showing off skins… and i kinda like the brown, not gonna lie! :X

and mentioning skin posts.. i went brunette for my post for today because of the skin i’m wearing. i used to not let brow-color deter me from wearing my favorite blonde shades of hair, but the longer i’m in sl.. the more my tastes change. now if a skin doesn’t have light brows on it, i usually don’t buy it because i just *can’t* wear it with my preferred shade of light blonde. light brows are still definitely harder to find than dark, though some of my favorite brands always seem to include them (and that is why they are faves!), but sometimes.. i make exceptions.

this skin i’m wearing here, which is out for stumblebum @ aura is gooooooorgeous. this skin line has been all over the feeds since release && i can now totally see why. bff vivi has been wearing this skin, briar, around in world for a li’l bit && i think it looks stunning on her (totally! see here if you don’t believe me ;p).. so i was excited to try it for myself. and obvs, i liked it enough to go brunette *just* so i could wear it~ plus the three makeups out for stumble are bright and pretty and come with a ton of tattoo-layer lipsticks for mixin’ && matchin’. love!!

and yeah, there’s a new round of stumblebum out! like i said, the skin i’m wearing is out at aura.. but i’m also wearing several other stumble goodies~

the tee i’ve got on (sparkle pony omfg) is part of the set from kyoot, the beautiful eyes are from insufferable dastard (i love love lovelovelove these! the colors are just so pretty!), the ribbon && pearl necklace is from miao, the *adorable* cafe-esque table and chair are from mud honey && all of the standing poses in the pictures are above are part of the items out at frooti.

i also gotta give credit to gogo for showing off some home decor items.. the two posters on the wall behind me matched my color scheme perfectly && i never would’ve grabbed ’em had it not been for her blog. so cute!! and totally inexpensive, too~

sooooo, brunette huh? not too bad! it’s nice for a change.. and the best part? the mesh hair i’m wearing here from magika comes in such a *generous* color-pack that i didn’t even have to pick between buying blonde or brown.. i get both! makes switching colors when i feel the *whim* for it so much easier. \o/

i know it’s a li’l obscured by my hair && my purse strap, but that’s what my shirt says. it’s new from blah and i was *so* amused by it that i had to blog it. and to me, it sounds so sarcastic (which is right up my alley, i speak sarcasm fluently~) that i dressed both with cute pieces && a bit ..anti-cute along with it, just to go “theme”.

i also felt like going with contrasts in other ways — gray top && gray bottoms, but with some *seriously* colorful accessories. gray and teal look lovely together, as does gray and yellow, so all three at once made for a nice combo. ..imho. 😉 and i’ve been needing an excuse to use this bag from toki doki, that li’l owl face is so cute i could just die. thankfully it matched (or matched as best as the rest of me “matches”, bahaha), but i probably would’ve used it anyway. owl purses are most *definitely* kawaiiiii~

cheesy songs aside ;p the two lovely ladies posin’ with me today are probably my favorites. in *either* life. of course, bff vivi should be familiar to anyone that’s read my blog before.. but let me introduce you to the gorgeous, dark haired girl with us! kystria aura is one of the sweetest, most *fun* people i’ve met to date in my slife && i’m very lucky to be able to call her a friend. and luckily for me, she was rather compliant about posing for a bloggity post with the bff && me!

all three of us are wearing a version each of the super cute *mesh* balloon dresses/tops from aura. they were out for just *20L* @ the love gatcha event on amira, but are still available at the mainstore for some extra gatcha funsies. and since kystria has been mia for a li’l while in world, having an extra one of these dresses in my inventory was a nice way to introduce her to how mesh works, how it fits && how it moves.

valentine

so today, bff vivi && i were *determined* to do something. something romantic, something fun, something.. befitting of the day. usually, she and i aren’t all super excited over valentine’s day… because, really, you should be showing the people you love just how much you love them *everyday* rather than just once a year… but once we recruited two of our friends to go out with us for the evening, just for fun, we both became increasingly enthused about vday.

we decided to get all girlied up, in pink and red, and be.. festive. cute. pretty. and i think we succeeded…

hearts and bows and chocolates and bright red and soft pink. very valentines indeed!

we were expecting our friends, allarik and braden, to follow suit. i mean, it *is* valentine’s day, and even though we didn’t set a dress code.. it’s definitely not out of the ordinary for us to be anticipating… say… a nice suit. maybe a tux? shiny shoes, pinstriped slacks, a flower pinned to the lapel. y’know, something nice && dapper.

instead, we got..

..two smug boys in jeans, sneakers && hoodies. grr.

the guys, apparently, were not so excited about valentine’s day as vivienne && i were. and they didn’t even expect us to be *doing* much of anything, much to our dismay. but vivi and i were thinking about spending a romantic night dancing, maybe at a jazz club, and make it a *real* date for the evening. our companions, on the other hand.. not so much.

so vivienne and i had to do a li’l.. convincing.

a few romantic poses seemed to do the trick rather nicely…

…and turned the tides in our favor.

after a few snuggles here ‘n’ there, suddenly our dates seemed *much* more eager to do all things romantic. it’s a wonder how easily they were convinced. ;p

and even though they’re certainly not *dressed* for the occasion, at least allarik && braden are much more compliant. now all we need is a nice club to hit up, where we can finish the night off the way we originally intended to!

these *20L* gatcha tees by sn@tch were far too *fun* not to play around with for a post. bff vivi && i spent soooo much time feeding the gatcha, trying to get all the t-shirts. i might have had a li’l streak of bad luck && got five of the shirts that say “dirty” across the chest in a row… while attempting to get the pink “virgin” version (oh, how funny).. but i swear the gatcha machine was just tryin’ to call me a dirty, dirty girl. ..for some unknown reason. 😉

the latest two lingerie releases from rezipsa loc, which are both *so* affordable && adorable on top of it, inspired bff vivi && i to take advantage of the lingerie challenge that’s been *blowing up* the feeds with undies galore. two new sets of undies and two best friends with an excuse to wear ’em.. seemed like kismet!

btw, the light blue set vivi’s wearing is actually made specifically for this week’s 52 weeks of color challenge… so. technically, vivienne is helping me participate in *two* challenges at once, even if for only one post! ahahah~

vivi && i pranced (yes, pranced) around our sitting room in our panties… and had a blast takin’ some photos. getting *all dolled up* for bloggy photos is fun times, lemme tell ya, but doing something as simple as undies && heels is just as fun! she and i did just recently take some snapshots in our underwears for a recent post… but… i mean… i *really* didn’t think anyone would be complaining too much. 😉

plus my bff is so gorgeous ❤❤❤ i thought some extra eye candy couldn’t hurt!

…even if things might have gotten a li’l out of hand after the photo shoot was supposed to be over. eye candy for all, indeed.

asian culture, clothing and food is something that’s always interested bff vivi && me. and while exploring (doing the cafe hunt no less), i found the perfect excuse to pay homage to something we both admire — lots && lots of asian-inspired prim food! 8D

so vivienne && i took this opportunity to dress in some gorgeous kimonos and have a blast playing around in… my linden home, surprisingly enough. who knew it would *finally* come in handy?
