one of my favorite pieces in my virtual wardrobe.. is a good pair of denim shorts. for the upcoming warmer months, nothing is easier to work with than a great pair of shorts. they match with pretty much anything you could think of, from tees to tanks to bikini tops, and denim cutoffs especially are a nice blend of cute, neutral && casual.

this *new* pair of jean shorts i grabbed from izzie’s are so cute… and are just short enough, definitely not too short if you know what i mean! seeing them almost immediately made me think of summer sunshine, so i *had* to have ’em~

the belt is from izzie’s too && came in a pack that made it a steal. five different leather textures, two different metals, and it comes in versions with a resizer or without… all in mesh! \o/

and speaking of mesh… i am *so* in love with the latest mesh releases from mon tissu. super cute halter dress, more denim shorts (yaaay! \o/), && the ruffle-hem tank i’m wearing here. soft, pretty colors with all those lovely details in every last ruffle… yum, i was sold on these tanks before i even got to demo.

i’m wearing the sheer version of the tank here (you get a normal version && a sheer version with each color), with another tank underneath (from sakide), for a more layered look… but honestly? the sheer version isn’t *so* sheer that i’d be flashin’ my tatas all over the place had i decided not to wear a second top underneath. i really like that, especially since the sheer version looks so delicate && light.. which was perfect for the look i was going for.

i broke out some pixelmode wedge sandals from last year && this dip-dyed ponytail from magika both to add a bit of pink… just because i could. ;p and i revisited a sim i snapped pics on in one of the first posts i wrote after getting my new, souped up computer. in fact, it was the first sim i dropped in on to take a pic with shadows enabled, period. nicely landscaped, with lots of green, and it’s the home to pivaaca, too — it made a lovely background for some springtime snapshots.

but it was hard, lemme tell ya, not to venture over into the store part of the sim && go shopping. ugh. #secondlifeproblems
