mon tissu

so when i saw mon tissu was having a contest for bloggers, i could not resist throwing my hat into the ring…

mon tissu is, hands down, one of my favorite brands on the grid. i wear their pieces in world && here on my blog *constantly* (i mean, just look right here!) because i adore this brand so much. everything released always has wonderful construction, lovely textures, and an innate style to them that make it so easy to put together a definitive *look*.

mixing && matching is one of my favorite things to do — take a piece from here, another piece from somewhere else, an accessory from yet another place and so on — and items from mon tissu have become a staple of mine in my virtual wardrobe for this. there are pieces i always search for in my inventory, clothing that i seem to fall back on because i like the fit or i like the look of it, and mon tissu’s releases rank right up there in my most searched for items.

the look i put together for these pictures is simple and casual — something i think mon tissu does amazingly well. denim is, by far, one of the easiest things to wear in world && these shorts (as well as the loulou jeans and the newer mesh nora jeans) are my absolute favorites. and when paired with a cute tank, a jean jacket && a scarf (in a peach shade that mon tissu does *so* well), the look i have here is casual but cute… and works great for that *in between* weather right now where it’s not quite summer anymore and still not quite autumn, either.

having a wardrobe of well-made, cute, *simple* pieces makes changing outfits and making new ones that much easier… and some of the nicest i own are from mon tissu. i couldn’t resist at least taking the time to blather on about one of my favorite brands, beyond just entering the contest, so if you’ve not checked them out (and why the hell not?!).. then i honestly can recommend you do so! i’ve never been disappointed by anything i’ve purchased from mon tissu (and, actually, the contrary is quite true — every release gets better and better and makes me more excited each time) and this look here shows that whether it’s prim or mesh, mon tissu does it *very* very well~
